Middle of nowhere: how do I get there?

Tuesday, October 2nd, 2007

Ever wondered how people get to these beautiful locations that you stumble upon in Panoramio (Google Earth)? For sure there will be no clues in your local travel guide!

Middle of Nowhere - get the directions through Google Earth (Panoramio)

I discovered a nice way to find out the way to your exotic and exclusive paradise - just leave a simple comment on the photo page on Panoramio website: “Wow! This is beatiful! How do I get there?”

The author of the photo will love to know that someone else was inspired by his work and will be more than happy to share the directions on how to get there.

Just an example of the directions that someone shared with me recently on Panoramio:

“Fly over to xxx town; go to the office on street yyy to get the permission to visit your island (you need it because it’s a border zone); talk to the guy called zzz if you face problems when getting a permission; wait for a week to get a boat to that island; walk 4 kilometres west from the port to reach that volcano.”

You won’t find this kind of stuff in the travel guide. Enjoy!

Software Business makes people happy

Thursday, August 30th, 2007

A thought that I have every time I wake up in the morning:

Software business is one of the few industries in the universe that can make people feel they are special and they live to enjoy their lives. The on-line business unlike any other gives us a chance to do it from any part of the world. And what’s more, pretty much anyone can do it. You don’t need an overly huge budget to start up. All you need is a bright idea.

Isn’t it nice being able to do the work you enjoy doing from the location that you enjoy staying at? Permanently.
Be it from a wooden house in a forest near Anchorage, Alaska or from a skyscraper in Frankfurt.

You choose your location. You choose your time schedule. You choose your destiny.

It makes my day! Every day!
