New video: How to change your YouTube username
We have been asked this question frequently enough to make a video about it.
Unfortunately there is no easy way to change your YouTube username. Previously if you wanted to change your YouTube username you would have to open a new Gmail account and then create a new YouTube account after that.
You don’t have to do this now. You can delete your current YouTube account and create a new one under the same Gmail address. That means you can have your old Gmail address associated with a new YouTube name.
